Youth - Boys Lacrosse Info
Overview
Mahtomedi Boys Youth Lacrosse is governed by both a national body, USA Lacrosse, and a state body, Homegrown Lacrosse.
The follow equipment is required to play boys youth lacrosse:
- Lacrosse Stick
- Mouth Guard
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Elbow Pads
- Shoulder Pad - must be NOCSAE certified
- USA Lacrosse creates the age divisions that Mahtomedi Lacrosse Association abides by. The 2025 (for play between Sept 1, 2024 - Aug 31, 2025) age division summary is:

*If your player is within 3 months of the cutoff, a waiver may be obtained to play outside of
DOB. Contact Boys Youth Director to obtain a waiver.
